The EACD is conducting a Europewide survey to assess the impact of austerity on inclusion and access to services for children, young people, their families and professionals/services. The survey is entitled
"Enablers and challenges to inclusion and access to services for disabled children and young people in times of austerity: The experiences of families and professionals across Europe".
It is available in 25 languages and takes only 5 to 10 minutes to complete. There is a tab at the top of each survey which allows you to choose any of the 25 languages by clicking on it.
If you are a professional working in Europe, we invite you to take part in the survey. We would also request you to share the links with other professionals working with disabled children and young people.
We also request you to share the links with children/young people with disabilities and parents/parent groups with whom you have contact. We hope to hear as many voices as possible from across Europe. The survey will be live till the end of February.

This survey is being conducted alongside a survey completed by the EACD National Co-ordinators which provides information on how services are provided in their own countries. Once all the surveys are complete, the data will allow us to understand what impact economic austerity has had on the lives of children and young people across Europe, their families and the professional services they access. We aim not just to focus on the challenges but also identify the key enablers to excellent practice despite the austerity measures. We aim to publicise the data widely and hope that it will be a powerful advocacy tool to allow us to lobby governments, policy makers, organisations and service managers. Your participation is important and will make a difference!
Thank you for your participation.
